Came to the USA in 1988, with a degree in Education, I was an Elementary School Teacher.
Just like every immigrant, I had to go through the rigors of assimilation into the system. Started by doing odd jobs here and there, attempted teaching for a few months, but eventually had to just switch to a totally new career in the Healthcare Industry.
Over 12 years of experience in the Healthcare field ranging from Medical Billing, Coding, Reviewing medical record for documentation deficiencies, Appeals for reimbursement, Auditing medical records, Educating physicians on Medicare Regulations on medical record documentation and it’s effect on Reimbursement, handling Medicare appeals/audits. These experiences span over different Facilities such as doctor’s office, Medical Groups, Teaching Hospitals such as UCLA, Harbor/UCLA, and Kaiser.
While working as a Certified Coder / Trainer in the HealthCare Industry, Real Estate was a hobby building that I never knew would be me today. Hobby became my passion and here I am today, a Landlord, Investor, Developer and a Realtor.
I am a residence of Redondo Beach now for over 18 years. Very diversified knowledge in real estate from Single Family Residences, to Income properties, to development of small condominium projects, to Tenant/landlord issues.
